Netflix has an exciting lineup of movies to release in 2024, promising a wide array of genres and star-studded casts. Here are some highlights to look forward to:

January to March

Spaceman – Scheduled for March 1st, this sci-fi drama stars Adam Sandler as an astronaut sent to the galaxy’s edge to collect mysterious ancient dust, only to find his earthly life falling apart.

Damsel – Releasing on March 8th, it features Millie Bobby Brown as a princess who discovers she will be sacrificed to a dragon and must fight to survive.

April to June

A Family Affair – Expected in April, this romantic comedy stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King. The story revolves around a surprising romance that ignites between a young woman and her mother’s ex-boyfriend, leading to an awkward love triangle.

Shirley – Out on May 22nd, this biopic stars Regina King as Shirley Chisholm, the first African-American woman to run for President of the United States.

July to September

The Electric State – Directed by the Russo brothers and set to release in mid-2024, this action-adventure stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, and Stanley Tucci. It follows an orphaned teenager who traverses the American West with a robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her brother.

Wake Up Dead Man (Knives Out 3) – Filming for this much-anticipated sequel started in summer 2024, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as Benoit Blanc. The release date is yet to be confirmed but expected around 2025.

The Union – Slated for August 16th, this action thriller features Mark Wahlberg, J.K. Simmons, and Halle Berry. The story follows a construction worker from Jersey thrust into the world of espionage by an ex-girlfriend.

Frankenstein – Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic, starring Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz, is set for late 2024 or early 2025.

The Thursday Murder Club – Directed by Chris Columbus and featuring Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Ben Kingsley, this comedy-crime movie about septuagenarians solving cold cases is eagerly awaited.
